What if my loved one is not ready for treatment but needs it?

We offer intervention services that can prepare your loved one and motivate them to want to seek treatment. We do that by love, leverage and motivation.

We provide the courts with treatment letters and can assist in postponing court dates, transportation to court, video court access through our facility tablets. Entering treatment often improves an individual’s legal standing. The courts often understand that addiction is an underlying issue that is a root problem for the individual.

Starting a program to work on the possible source of the issue displays one’s willingness in the situation.

What do I tell my employer when I am going to treatment?

All individuals have confidentiality rights because this is a personal medical issue. HR and your employee assistance program (EAP) are the only parties who would need to know what type of treatment you are seeking. Your employer technically does not need to be informed of the reason for medical leave.

However, much of the time it is helpful to be honest with your employer.
