Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Our partial hospitalization program in New Jersey is the highest level of outpatient care we offer. PHP is designed for individuals who need structured, intensive support throughout the day but do not require overnight residential care. Clients attend programming for several hours each day, multiple days per week, receiving clinical therapy, group support, and medical oversight, then return home each evening. PHP is well-suited for individuals who are stepping down from inpatient care, those in the early stages of recovery who need close monitoring, or anyone whose symptoms require a higher level of clinical attention than standard outpatient therapy can provide.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

The intensive outpatient program at Liberty Wellness offers the focus and structure of a more intensive program while allowing clients to maintain their daily responsibilities. IOP meets multiple times per week and includes individual counseling, group therapy, psychoeducation, and relapse prevention planning. IOP is a common step-down from PHP and is also appropriate as an entry point for individuals with a strong support system at home who do not require daily clinical oversight.
