Born in Palmira, Colombia, Jennifer immigrated to the United States with her family in May 2000. From an early age, she naturally stepped into the roles of caretaker, translator, and advocate, responsibilities that shaped her into a strong yet deeply empathetic woman. As one of five children, she learned how to hold space for others’ beliefs while honoring her own, developing the balance of compassion and firmness that continues to guide her both personally and professionally.

Jennifer began her healthcare career in 2012 as a Certified Nursing Assistant before advancing her career by earning her LPN license. She went on to spend several years in hospice care, where she stood alongside individuals and families during some of life’s most tender and vulnerable moments. In 2024, after losing her biological father to cirrhosis and ESRD, Jennifer felt called to serve individuals living with substance use disorders—a population often overlooked yet profoundly deserving of care, dignity, and advocacy. This call led her to Liberty Wellness, where she now serves as a client and staff nurse. In her role, Jennifer is known for her steady presence, unwavering support, and heartfelt commitment to every person she encounters.

Outside of work, Jennifer’s greatest passion is being a mother to her two beautiful childen. She is deeply devoted to creating a life of safety, stability, love, and opportunity for her children, values that fuel her drive in both her personal life and her professional journey. When she isn’t caring for her family, Jennifer can often be found studying as she continues advancing her nursing education. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, makeup artistry, exploring new restaurants, and catching up on much-needed rest.
